Creating projects, setting up schedules, and recruiting participants are all free on Inclivio. To start sending pings to your participants, your project must be funded. Inclivio charges per ping sent to your participants, based on how your pings are sent (text-message versus email) and where your participants are located. On this page, you will find information about:

Estimate does not include reminder pings. Price may vary if you send SMS to participants across multiple countries or use different send SMS to participants across multiple countries or use different modalities for each participant. Please contact us for additional support if needed.

Payment Methods

The easiest way to fund your project on Inclivio is to add your credit card to your account. If your institution requires that you pay using another method, please contact us and we will help you get this set up.

To associate a credit card with your account:

  1. Navigate to Billing > Payment Methods and select "add a new payment method" to get started. If you need to pay through your department's finance team, click the Request to pay using another method button and we will follow up.

  2. Provide your billing information (name, address, credit card information) and click "submit". Note: Your credit card information is not stored on Inclivio's servers but maintained securely by Stripe. You can learn more about Stripe's security practices here.

Project Funding

To fund your project you need to maintain a project balance. Funds are deducted from this balance every time a ping is sent.

  1. Navigate to the Project funding tab.

  2. Find your project and click on the "Attach payment method" field to associate your card.

  3. Configure auto-recharge settings if desired, then click "Save". Your card will not be charged yet.

  4. Click "Add funds" to deposit money into your project balance. This will charge your card.

  5. Congratulations! Your project is now funded and you are ready to start sending pings!

Invoices

A list of all payments is recorded immediately in the Payment history tab.

Payment History

Invoices are generated for all payments made in a given month on the first day of the following month. Navigate to the Invoices tab to download them.

Detailed Reports

You can generate a detailed ping-by-ping billing report on demand. This report includes columns for:

  • SID - Unique message ID
  • projectId - Project ID
  • cost - Cost of the ping
  • timestampUTC - Time sent
  • modality - SMS or email
